Live answer cues for technical interviews

Stay in the conversation.

uHint.me listens to your interview, catches questions as they're asked, and puts short answer cues on your phone. No typing, no tab‑switching, no losing your train of thought.

macOS 14.2+ and Windows 11 · Answer view in any browser · Nothing to install on your phone

  • System design rounds
  • Technical screens
  • Architecture discussions
  • Trade-off questions

A question comes up. Your cues follow.

Keep the call on your computer and your cues on a second screen. When the conversation moves on, uHint.me moves with it.

Example content. Not a live session.

Start a session. Then keep talking.

  1. Start on your computer.

Sign in to the uHint.me app, choose Computer audio or Microphone, and press Start.

  2. Open your answer view.

On your phone or another screen, open the address shown in the app and enter its PIN.

  3. Let the cues come to you.

Questions are detected automatically. Read the talking points and answer in your own words.

When the conversation ends, press Stop. That's it.

Why not just a chat window?

The usual fallback is a chat tab next to the call. Here is what changes.

  • No typing mid-sentence.

You don't stop to type the question into a chat. uHint.me hears it and does that part for you.

  • Eyes on the camera.

The cues sit on your phone beside the screen, not in a second tab you have to switch to and back.

  • Cues that keep up.

When the interviewer moves to the next question, the cues move too. Nothing to clear, scroll or ask again.

Built for live processing

Processed live. Conversations aren't stored.

uHint.me turns the live audio of a session into answer cues and keeps none of that session on its own infrastructure.

  1. Live audio in

The app streams raw audio as the conversation happens. uHint.me processes it in real time and does not store it.

  2. Question detected

A realtime AI stage listens for the current question. A separate model then writes short answer cues for it.

  3. Answer cues delivered

The cues go to your answer view. Once delivered, uHint.me keeps none of it: not the audio, the question or the cues.

No session content retained by uHint.me. AI provider retention policies are separate.

Questions

What do I need?

The uHint.me app on macOS 14.2 or later, or Windows 11 (64-bit), an account with session time, and an internet connection. The answer view opens in a browser on your phone or another screen.

Do I need to type each question?

No. Once your session is running, uHint.me detects questions from the selected audio source and generates answer cues automatically.

Does it work with Zoom, Teams or Google Meet?

With Computer audio, uHint.me hears whatever your computer plays, so it isn't tied to one call app. Try it with your setup in your free hour.

Should I tell the other participants?

Yes. uHint.me processes the audio of your conversation, so let the other participants know you are using it.

Do I need an app on my phone?

No. The answer view is a web page. Open the address shown in the app, enter the PIN, and keep it on your phone or any other screen.

What kinds of questions is it built for?

Technical explanations, comparisons, trade-offs and problem solving. Questions about your own experience still need your own answer.

Which audio does it use?

Choose Computer audio for everything your computer plays, or Microphone for microphone input. Computer audio does not include your microphone. A session uses one source at a time.

Which languages does it support?

English, Polish, German, French, Italian and Spanish. You choose the conversation language in your account, and it applies to your next session.

Can the cues be wrong?

Yes. AI-generated cues can be incomplete or incorrect. Use your own judgment when answering.

Is it only for interviews?

No. It's written for technical interviews, but it works in any conversation where questions come up and you answer them out loud.

What it won't do

Cues, not answers.

Use uHint.me the way you'd use your own notes: a prompt for what to say, not a script to read.

  • It won't answer for you. The cues are talking points. The answer, in your words, is still yours.
  • It won't speak about your experience. Questions about your projects, your team or your decisions need your own answer.
  • It won't write code for you. The cues are short talking points for questions you answer out loud, not solutions to paste.
  • It can be wrong. AI-generated cues can miss the mark. Check them against what you know.
